Virginia Giuffre, a woman who accused the late Jeffery Epstein and Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, died Thursday, said her family. She was 41 years old.
“Giuffre lost his life to suicide, after being a life of a lifetime of sexual abuse and sexual trafficking,” his family wrote in a statement given to People on Friday.
“Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sexual trafficking. It was the light that raised so many survivors. Despite all the adversity he faced in his life, he shone so brilliant. Noah and Emily.”
“It was when he collapsed his newborn daughter in her arms that Virginia realized that she had to fight against those who had abused her and so many others,” the statement continued.
“There are no words that can express the loss of tombs that we feel today with the death of our sweet Virginia. It was heroic and will always be remembered for its incredible courage and love spirit. In the end, the cost of abuse. It is its own.
“Virginia was much more than a client for me; she was a dear friend and an incredible champion for other victims,” said lawyer Sigrid McCawley.
“His courage pushed me to fight harder, and his strength was impressive. The world has lost an incredible human being today. Rest in peace, my sweet angel.”
The news of Giuffre’s death comes only several weeks after she said she was hit by a school bus and only had “days to live.”
At the end of March, Giuffre shared a horrible hospital selfie through Instagram, tells his followers about the “sausage begins a new year.”
The next day, however, a spokesman for the Western Australia Police Force (WAPF) questioned Giuffre’s alleged statements, saying that they received a report from a “minor accident” between a bus and a car in Dutlabby, Australia, on March 24.
Police also said that “there were no injuries reported as accident results.”
Even so, Giuffre doubled his claims and responded to the skeptics, and the members of his family tell the mirror that the victims reject the creator of silence was “in serious condition while receiving medical attention.”
Six days later, Giuffre was discharged from the hospital.
Year before, in 2021, Giuffre demanded Prince Andrew, 65, for sexual assault, claiming that he allegedly raped when he was a teenager as part of Epstein’s sexual traffic.
She and the Duke of York resolved the case outside the court for an estimated $ 12 million in 2022. Andrew denied any irregularity, but the real mother, Queen Elizabeth II, stripped it of her military titles as a result of the scandal.
