Chris Krebs, the former cybersecurity official in the first mandate of President Trump, whom the president recently addressed an investigation because he had said that the 2020 elections had been held safely, he learned of this week that the Travel members had.

Mr. Krebs received an email on Wednesday warning him that his status in the global entrance program had changed, which led him to log in to his account. The program, led by Customs and the US border protection, allows people to consider that low risk re -enters the country faster than normal travelers.

Mr. Krebs told CNN, who reported the news previously, that he knew that his membership had terminated his leg after logging into the program. He confirmed to the New York Times that he had discovered that his membership had revoked his leg.

A White House spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comments on the matter.

But the change in the state of Mr. Krebs occurred three weeks after Trump signed a presidential directive in Chamber from the Oval Office, the attorney general of Count Pam Bondi to seek evidence that Mr. Krebs could have tried information classified to anyone who is not authorized to receive it, which is a federal crime.

Krebs was attacked by Mr. Trump for contradicting Trump’s -free statements and advisors that electronic voting machines in the 2020 race that Trump lost to President Biden had committed. Mr. Krebs, who led the agency in charge of protecting the electoral machinery from foreign interference, said the election was held safely.

Mr. Krebs was also stripped of his security authorization. The president’s actions have had immediate repercussions for Mr. Krebs. A week after Mr. Trump’s directive, Mr. Krebs resigned from the cybersecurity firm to which he had joined to focus on the fight against research.

Since he took the presidency for the second time, Trump has been systematically working through compensation objectives in one way or another, most law firms that have been issued or threatened to issue executive orders.

But the directive relationship with Mr. Krebs was the first time since the position of turning again that Trump had publicly ordered investigations on people. Miles Taylor, an official of the National Security Department at the First Trump administration who has been deeply critical of Mr. Trump, pointed out with Mr. Krebs.

Earlier this week, around 40 cyber security experts signed an open letter condemning “political persecution” or Mr. Krebs.
