One of the most popular Star Trek characters is Chief O’Brien, who went from being a minor secondary character in The next generation Be one of the main members of the cast in Deep space nine. He is an identifiable character for many reasons, including the fact that he is a family man who would prefer to relax with his wife and children instead of exploring new strange worlds.
