Take a moment and think about your best friend. (Ah, isn’t now good?) The fun of the best friends is that more than not, the two people involved are quite different. Early training warriors become friends with button loyal, skin care fans connect with skin nihilists, Carrie and Charlotte, you get the image. Therefore, it is not surprising that best friends Suki Waterhouse and Poppy Jamie take two different paths for skin care, physical state and sleep hygiene. But the line through which it keeps them connected? On the one hand, it is an appreciation for gratitude, which led them to launch an application called congratitude to celebrate it. “A friend who lives in London, lived in Los Angeles, and began to send 10 things for which we were grateful for every day. Then, Poppy and I began to do the same, and became a massive habit solving that he accumulated it,” Soying It “, a life of tours, acting and being a mother in the bastards of the application of the application, which gives suki and poppy All things about all the things of the people of the application.
Skin care
Poppy Jamie: Suki is the queen of skin care. You just have to look at her to know that. I can literally see my face on the skin because it is very bright.
Suki Waterhouse: I am an addict of full skin care, but I really like the clinical and biology detective, just although they literally have the most odored products on Earth. If I am using a biologique product, my mother will literally tell me to leave her car because she stinks. [Laughs] But I have used probable is the longest clinical products. I love using active serum at night and the duration of the pro-heal serum the day.
Duration Pandemia, I got very in the facial massages and even made a one -hour class with Facegym. They train you and then you can give yourself a constant raised face with just your hands. It’s amazing. In addition, this incredible lady in Biologique told me that we should be clean a minute and that my mind flew because I threw my cleaner on and off most of the time. And I will admit that I have ignored my neck and chest. For some reason, there is a mental block and I cannot get to clean, and generally apply skin care, there. That is the next stage for me. Otherwise, I will have a very different face and appearance.
PJ: Personally, I am obsessed with drinking electrolytes. They have really helped my skin. And if I am honest, historically I have had a terrible digestion, and magnesium has a super useful bone, but electrolytes also have an absolute game change with that.
Southwest: Anne Hathaway and I have the same movement coach, Dani -Skout for him, and discovered what brand or electrolytes he takes. It’s called Piqué. Obviously, I ordered a battery for me and my skin looks brighter and generally feels better.
Sleep hygiene
Southwest: Sleeping is Poppy’s big thing. Me? I’m terrible. I will fall asleep on the couch with a hairy jacket with shoes on. But Poppy doesn’t play. She is going to have eight hours or bankrupt. When we make a trip together, I am under a strict regime.
PJ: It is the wind down. When I had a very busy day and I am answering emails late at night or I am seeing a really intense program, I am too connected to fall asleep. I always say you have to treat yourself like a baby. You would never put a baby in his crib and say: “Sleep now.” You would give the baby a bath, you would read a story and give them a bottle. So, finally, I hug [Poppy is a co-founder of the brand]A mixture of hot chocolate with magnesium, which is literally the queen to sleep. Making the drink is also a good way to train my brain so that I know that when I do this true activity, it is time to go to bed.
Southwest: Cuddle is also the most delicious thing. It has helped me a lot and it is something that I really hope to drink before going to sleep every night. And, or of course, Poppy is right when treating you like a baby. I think about that now that I have my own baby. The amount of time we put to calm it and put it in a cozy state before I go to sleep has made me go: ‘My God. This would be great for me.
Gratitude
Southwest: I do not have so many rituals in my life, but I find so much pleasure and a feeling of peace when I do. And only through the nature that everyone has occupied lives, I don’t always know what is happening with some of the people closest to me. When writing lists of gratitude, I not only have a daily ritual, but I also discovered that it is a real way to create deeper conversations with people. Sometimes, Poppy will see my list with a gratitude and call me to ask about something I wrote, as if I am grateful for solving a child or conflict. I feel very deeply connected to the trip in which she is as a person, so never. My empathy for everyone has just grows.
PJ: We have been making writing lists for a year and I haven’t lost a day. It was perhaps after two or three months that I realized that it was also essential to change the way I think and look at my life. Naturally, we look at the negative, right? Humans are connected to detect danger and, of course, our brains want to worry about each and every possible threats. To have a practice that forces you to look for blessings in your life, it really has an effect on you. I could have the recorded sausage day, but when I make my gratitude list, I can always find something good, which allows me to change my perspective and recognize my own resistance.
In addition, apart from making me feel grateful that your friends communicate with something about something, I wrote, there is a real science to do something like this with your friends. It is much more likely to appear in the gym if your friend tells you to know them there at 10 am because you do not want to disappoint them and you are a responsible hero. The same applies here.
Physical aptitude
Southwest: I always feel much better when I go out or spend the day with Poppy. She always tells me that we have to leave for an hour every day and that it really enforces the march, which is not great. I am definitely the one who will get out of bed, ask for coffee, will not drink water, go to the studio for eight hours and will not see the sunlight all day. She is horrified by that.
PJ: The morning walk is critical because we have enough vitamin D. It is so important that it see the duration of the day that the first hour or day because it sets its circadian rhythm in motion, which also affects its drag. Also cool your mind. I always feel better when I start my day that way. I am more creative, more productive and better to process my thoughts. No one is walking enough in Los Angeles, but for me, 10,000 steps are a good number to focus.
