Sprinter Health, a mobile health company at the request that is associated with care agencies and health plans at home, has raised $ 55 million in a round of B series fines directed by Catalyst General.
The round, which included the participation of Andreessen Horowitz Bio+ Health and other existing investors, carries the total increase of Sprinter to more than $ 125 million.
Sprinter, based in San Francisco, operates in 18 states and plans to reach 22 states at the end of the summer of 2025, using its freshly raised cash to support its growth.
“We are cultivating the equipment significantly in all clinical areas, engineering, AI and operations,” said co -founder Max Cohen to Home Health Care News. “These funds will support that growth as we continually refine our logistics technology. We are also quickly adding geographical regions to have more coverage for paying partners.”
Sprinter combines a virtual team of practicing nurses and specialists with home care personnel who are trained as medical assistants, community health workers and phlebotomists. His caregivers have completed almost 100,000 visits at home in the name of national health plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
The approach enabled for company technology is designed to expand the geographical scope of their workforce, which allows them to see more patients and improve access to care.
Cohen said that sprinter employees often connect with patients who have not interacted with a medical care provider in years, so the company uses appointments as an opportunity to provide resources and connect patients with other care pants.
“This can take many education forms, direct programming for monitoring appointments with doctors, direct test results, etc.,” Cohen said. ” [Sprinter staff] They are trained not only to administer these tests and diagnoses, but to ask the right questions, recognize the unattered needs of patients who extend beyond clinical and, most importantly, teach each child person, compassion and empathy. ”
