The prestigious event in the northeast of England sees the samuels and Johnson with perennial leaf

The regular winners of the Northeast, Calum Johnson and Carl Avery, went to the top of the male race of almost six miles, while Sonia Samuels was the winner of the Women’s Section on Junior Charlotte Dillon.
It was Johnson’s third victory in this prestigious event that previously emerged at the top in 2022 and 2024 after a fourth place in 2018.
The champion between countries among the Counts had a 24 -second margin about Avery, who has just arrived home ahead of Finn Brodie and Adrian dances in a nearby clash for the place of finalists.
For Avery, who also followed Johnson Home last year, it was his fourth second place here.
The 2016 Olympic Games marathoner, headed all men in his age group of over 45 years to take the category of women in exactly the same 24 -second winning margin for his third victory in the race after the victories in 2017 and 2024.
It was Dillon’s first departure in Blaydon’s career and arrived after a third place in the Junior Championships between Counts between County this year.
