Axiro Semiconductor Private Limited, a recently established subsidiary of CG Power and Industrial Solutions, part of the business portfolio of the Murugappa Group, has announced the opening of its Fable Semiconductor Design Center in Bengaluru.
Strengthening this commitment, CG Power and Industrial Solutions, the Axiro parent company, recently invested $ 36 million, marking its formal entrance in the semiconductor design business.
One of the first company of Fables semiconductors of India that operates on a scale, with millions of ICS sent monthly to global players such as Ericsson, Nokia, Hughes and Siemens, Axiro is ready to address the sectors, including 5g/6g, strategic defense, satellite communications and industrial IoT.
Incorporated in December 2024, the company has plans to develop specialized chip solutions for industrial and technological applications. Bangalore -based, Axiro benefits from the experience of his parent company in industrial solutions and electrical equipment.
The opening ceremony was attended by prominent leaders of the industry and government, including Sushil Pal, CEO of ISM; Vellayan Subbiah, president of CG Power and Industrial Solutions (Axiro Matrix Company) and Choamandalam Investment and Finance Company; RR Tiwary, representative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity); Gauraw Srivastava, representative of the Department of Telecommunications (DOT); Dr. Naveen Yanduru, CEO or semiconductor axiro; and Anshumaan Ravi Swaminathan, non -executive director of Axiro Semiconductor.
The Axiro Fables model allows an approach to the design of chips and the creation of IP while pale the global foundations for production, ensuring rapid scalability, cost optimization and high performance.
Its new Bengaluru installation is designed as a modern innovation center, with advanced design laboratories, ergonomic collaborative spaces and infrastructure ready for expansion to accommodate a duplication of its R&D equipment in 2026.
Speaking at the inauguration, Sushil Pal, CEO in collaboration, emphasized the national strategic importance of indigenous semiconductor design capabilities. “Axiro is a milestone for the semiconductor mission of India. It reflects the vision of self -sufficiency with global relevance,” he said.
Together with Subbiah Vellayan, president of CG Power and Industrial Solutions, declared that innovative innovations and an unwavering commitment to excellence will continue to drive Axiro Semiconductor forward. The company aims to offer avant -garde solutions for AI, automotive and IoT applications, further accelerating the integration of India into the global semiconductor value chain.
