The main officer of Florida’s law warns the mayor of Orlando who could be withdrawn from office if he implements a migrant law approved by the City Council.

In 2018, Orlando approved the local rules entitled The “Trust Law”, which aimed to turn Orlando into a sanctuary city. But state officials warn Orlando that sanctuary policies are illegal in Florida, according to WJXT TV.

Florida’s attorney general, Republican James Uthmeier, jumped to social networks on Monday to warn Orlando Major Buddy Dyer that the policies of the Sanctuary City had become “null” when Florida’s republican governor, Ron Desantis, signed a state law in 2019.

“Today, I sent a letter to @orlandomayor reminding him that the sanctuary policy adopted by the city in 2018, the” Confidence Law “, is the subject of a 2019 law signed by @govrondesantis,” wrote Uthmeier in X. “The policies hunches the policies The Allexlellellla de Allex Allexiles in an agreement 287 (G) with ICE, there will be consequences.

“The sanctuary policies are not tolerated or legal in Florida,” says Uthmmeier’s letter. “Failure to comply with the state law can result in the application of application sanctions, including, among others, contempt, declarative or precautionary relief, and the elimination of the position by the governor.”

Mayor Dyer responded with his own letter that insisted that he and his administration have no “intention of violating federal or state law” and also pointed out that he and his city “signed the memorandum and agreement 287 (g) force of the task force.” Dyer wrote:

Our operational officers and in the process of being trained by ICE to provide assistance in their address. We ensure that it will continue to use the best efforts to support the application of the Federal Immigration Law, such as state law. I am always available to provide additional information or help you your office somehow.

Despite his claims to be a follower of the law, Dyer has also developed a reputation of being a warrior of social justice that wants to protect illegal foreigners in Orlando.

With Dyer at the head, for example, the city approved its confidence law to the cheers of immigration activists, the South Florida Sun Sentinel Reported at that time.

Dyer has just celebrated the NBA in 2021 as a “change of social justice game.”
