A high school student is mourning for the loss of his entire immediate family, who died in a tragic plane crash of the New York state that killed the six passengers on Saturday.
Anika Groff lost her parents, the neuroscientist Michael Groff and the Uroginecologist Joy Saini, as well as both older brothers, her sister Karenna and her brother Jared, according to a report from Daily mail.
The other two passengers who, according to the reports, were killed in Saturday’s plane crash in Copake, New York, near the Massachusetts border, were Karna’s boyfriend, James Santoro, and Jared’s girlfriend, Alexia Couyutas Duarte.
The Weston School District, Massachusetts, where Karenna and Jared Groff went to school, issued a statement to the community after Saturday’s accident.
