Washington’s national pitcher, Jorge López, was expelled from the game from Wednesday night against Pittsburgh’s pirates after a launch near Andrew McCutchen’s head led to the laughs laugh.
In the seventh entrance, López hit the previous Batteran Reynolds with a launch before facing McCutchen, who had to fall to the ground to avoid being beaten by a 92 mph ball near his head.
When the referees gathered to discuss the incident, McCutchen and López began to discuss, which made both banks empty. The Pirates gardener, Tommy Pham, was also seen screaming while he was held by his teammate Higal Cruz.
