See you around!
“Emily in Paris” will begin to film the season 5 in May, but at least an important character who won to return, and the absence will throw a key in a great plot from the beginning of the program.
Season 4 was so special dramatic, with Emily (Lily Collins) dating Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) after Camille (Camille Razat) left him on the altar.
The love triangle hit an inconvenience when Camille, who had an adventure with his Greek girlfriend, Sofía (Melia Kreiling), thought she was pregnant with Gabriel’s baby.
He later discovered that the scare of pregnancy was a false alarm.
Emily’s complicated relationship with Gabriel and Camille was not her only love triangle in the series. They also gave Flip-Flop between Gabriel and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) and his last lover, the Italian Beau Marcello.
As for who will not return when “Emily in Paris” begins the production next month, Variety reported Thursday that Camille is out.
Creator Darren Star previously hinted at his departure.
“I think it will always be part of the series: she is part of her world and would never rule out the fact that we will see her again. Her story will continue,” he told The Wrap. “The characters can enter and leave a series, but you don’t necessarily have to see them. We may or may not. I don’t know how much or we will see next season. But again, she is part of the world of the series. Again, we will not see it.”
The cast of the cast is not the only new change.
Fans will see Emily in Rome after last season, transferred an Italian apartment to open a new Agitely Grateau office, but will not completely fade from Paris.
“Emily will have a presence in Rome,” said Star Tudum. “It does not mean that it will not be in Paris, but it will have a presence in Rome.”
Send Emily to Italy to open a new office was born from the desire to “stay ahead of the audience and take them to unexpected places” and demonstrate “the program has the ability to have a bigger footprint.”
In September 2024, Collins opened his hope for season 5, noting that “definitely” wants to explore more than Italy with his friends by his side.
“I can’t be there alone. That is not going to be fun. I mean, they will be fun moments, but I am saying that I need my girls,” he said. “We have to find a way to turn it into a group experience,” he told The Hollywood Reporter at that time.
She joked: “I love Rome, but there are many other places in Italy, right?”
