Wendy’s responds to Katy Perry post backlash after space flight

Wendy’s is walking back its sarcastic Tweet insulting the spatial flight of blue origin of Katy Perry.

“We always contribute a bit of spice to our social,” said the fast food chain in a statement to the people on Thursday.

However, Wendy insisted that “he has a lot or respect for Katy Perry and his talent outside this world.”

The company went viral on Monday after Perry, 40 years old, and the rest of its flight crew-Lauren Sánchez, Gayle King, NASA Aisha Bowe Aerospace Engineer, Civil Rights activist Amanda Nguyen and film producer Kerianne Frynn Sayy.

“Can we send it back?” Wendy asked through X of the “Firework” singer.

The brand also mocked a photo of Perry kissing the ground upon his return with a reference to his 2008 success “I kissed to Girl”.

Wendy wrote: “I kissed the ground and I liked it.”

Kesha, who has a long leg in disagreement with Perry about the continuous collaborations of the “teenage dream” with the accused rapist Dr. Luke, signed the shadow.

After the tweets became viral, the “Tik Tok” singer, 38, shared a smiling selfie enjoying a drink in a Wendy glass.

While Perry has not yet approached Wendy’s or Kesha’s Dises, a source told Page Six exclusively Thorsday that he felt chopped by the “directed hostility.”

The source said that X publications were not examples of “harmless jokes” or “humor.”

They added: “This was a mark of billions of dollars that used its platform to publicly degrade a woman … Wendy did not make a joke: they made a decision. Recently not only disrespectful but also blatantly inappropriate.”
