House Committees Investigating Biden Administration for Funding Anti-Netanyahu Protests

Two committees of the US House of Representatives. UU. They are investigating the old Biden administration for allegedly financing protests aimed at expelling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and more research could arrive soon.

As Breitbart News pointed out in 2023, the United States Department of State had been “financing a leftist organization in Israel that is helping to promote the anti -government protest aimed at demolishing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and its judicial reforms.” That report, in turn, cited Washington Free Beacon, who reported that the funds of US taxpayers had granted the quality government (MQG) movement, which had helped lead the fight against Netanyahu in the courts and in the streets.

Now, Liel Leibovitz writes in the Wall Street JournalTwo separate camera committees are further investigating:

As reported by the Editorial Board of the Magazine, the State Department of State and the United States International Development Agency transferred tens of millions of dollars, directly and indirectly, to Israeli non -governmental organizations that work to overthrow the Netanyahu government. Two committees of the House of Representatives are investigating how US funds were used to six of these groups. Which is equally good, since the federal financing of foreign organizations can be a thorny scrub to navigate, which requires researchers to try to determine precisely what the funds were designated and if applied copactly. But the publicly warning records tell a suspicious story: many of the organizations that received funds from the Biden administration also played a key role in the movement to rough Mr. Netanyahu.

Take Itach Ma’aki, or women lawyers for social justice. The group received more than $ 8,000 from the United States Embassy in Jerusalem in 2023, designated for a Development project in Negev, a desert in southern Israel. That same year, the group helped to replicate the protests of “Handmaid’s Tale” of the United States in Israel. Photo Israel, an organization dedicated to “the promotion of the art of photography in Israel and abroad”, received almost $ 80,000 from USAID in 2024 for a photography program that says that motivates the young Israeli to Actim. “The recent activities of Photo Israel include” the protest of heaven “, an exhibition that celebrates the Antietanyahu movement.

Sikkuy-Aufoq, a non-profit organization that works for “equality and association” between Jews and Arabs, received more than $ 1 million in funds from the State Department between 2021 and 2024. Fiscal documents affirmed that the organization used these funds to strengthen local authorities and reduce crime in Arab communities. Sikkuy-Aufq has organized demonstrations and demands aimed at the government of Mr. Netanyahu and his policies.

This was not the first attempt by a Democratic Administration to interfere with Israel’s policy. As Breitbart News pointed out, in 2015 “the State Department spent $ 465,000 in a group called Onevouize, which joined a group called Victory 15 (V15) and worked to defeat Netanyahu and his Likud party in the Israel elections.”

Breitbart News has communicated with employees in the Senate to determine if the upper house will also carry out its own research and supervision of the Biden administration spending in the expulsion of Netanyahu.
