Boston Marathon’s trans runner tramples women athletes

Monday is the day of the patriots in Boston, and according to the tradition, the operation of the 129th annual Boston marathon.

But when it comes to women’s freedom, something does not add.

Since 2023, runners can qualify for spaces in the limited access race in one of the three gender categories: men, women and non -binary.

The official qualification time for women is 16.6% slower than men, about 30 full minutes, recognizing a fact that we all know they are true: men are faster than women.

The non -binary category uses the qualification time of women, due to another basic event: non -binary individuals can be biologically feminine masculine.

In the two years since the non -binary category, presented, both winners have been biological men, evidence, if we needed it, of the truth of fact No. 1.

However, now the marathon has allowed a man to compete in the Women’s Division, because he claims to be a woman.

Riya Suising, born Robert Chien Hwa Young, is a man. A runner for a long time, Suiting has competed in races in the women’s category more than 338 times since 2009, medals for his age group more than 140 times.

In each of those races, he displaced a deserving woman, and every time he was standing on stage, he displaced many.

Allow male corridors in female races undermines justice and disadvantages of female competitors.

It means that a man could win all men in the Boston marathon category, women and non -binary.

No space is protected for women.

In one day, they meean to honor courage and freedom, is this what rupture barriers really mean?

And at a time when President Trump is demanding the states for violating title IX, and the Supreme Court of Great Britain is ruling that transgender women are not, in fact, legally women, is it the decision of the marathon what we really want?

Simply claiming to be a woman does not erase the male athletic advantage.

Take VO2 Max, or the body’s ability to use the intense exercise of oxygen duration.

It is a key resistance marker, and the VO2 Max of men is, in Anverage, 50% greater than that of women.

Nothing can change human sex. Suiting, whose classification time barely gave him a slot in the race, stole a place for a real woman.

Sports competitions establish clear limits for a reason, and women are not simply men with disabilities.

The argument that the dosing of men with enough incorrect sex hormones means that they should compete against women is deeply misogynist.

Women are outstanding athletes and deserve a fair and equal shot not only to win and stand at the top of the stage, but only to be able to enter the game.

Sports are not inclusion. Not everyone describes for the Boston marathon. Female athletes dedicate their lives to achieve the necessary classification time to run in that historical event.

However, Bank of America and Adidas, the main corporate sponsors of the marathon, tacitly support the obliteration of the Boston Athletic Association of the category of women and the deletion of female athletes.

It is time for people to reject their flagrant contempt of women.

Boicots Work. Look at Bud Light, who lost his first place in the beer category due to an alliance with the influential transimented male Dylan Mulvaney.

Bud Light’s drinkers rejected the lie that men can become women and also rejected the brand.

It is not intolerance, it is simply a hug of biological reality, and Bud Light lost about $ 1 billion in sales to embrace the fiction that men can be women use enough makeup.

If Adidas and Bank of America moved away from the race, we should get away from their brands.

And corporate sponsorship has an incredible influence on sports. Only while Proctor and Gamble withdrew his support for the US Gymnastics on the sexual assault scandal of Larry Nassar, the USAG took measures to enforce the safer training environments for female athletes.

We can use our purchasing power to send a clear message to Adidas and Bank of America so that biological reality is important, and that a minority of bullying that says that men cannot do so.

A majority that is too American, 79% of us, agrees that women’s sports must be protected, including most Democrats.

Allowing even a man to violate the limit means that “female sports” no longer exist.

The male category in the Boston Marathon is open to Riya Suiting. The non -binary category is also.

The category of women should not be.

Misoginia does not look better in a support. He is still a man who insists on a special treatment, with the priority over the shooting of each woman’s fair.
