A 64 -year -old man is giving life to life after shooting himself in an apparent suicide attempt at Brooklyn Bridge Park on Easter Sunday, police said.
The police responded to a 911 call in the picturesque park shortly before 6:40 AM to find the unidentified man who does not respond with a gunshot wound on his head, said a New York police spokesman.

He was transported to Presbyterian Memorial Hospital by EMS and is critical of Thing Theating injuries, according to the Police.
A firearm was recovered on the scene and the incident is under investigation.
In November, an distressed man threatened to jump from the historical period, but the police spoke.
Two months before, the police discovered possible human remains in the park.
