Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) said Monday about the “Situation Chamber” of CNN that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseeth should be fired or resign after reports that military details were shared in a second chat of the signal group.

Warner said: “This is a guy who is so far on his head that you know, hey, they said nothing about Thying who made a rude and careless use of the classified information. Sharing now with his mortgages of his family. Older members of the administration.”

He continued: “It is time for Hegseth to give up or be fired. And I think the question will be, Wolf, my republican friends of the Senate, whom I know that they care about our national security, how many more examples of chaos in the Pentagon before finding his voice and being willing to take a step forward and talk about the fact that the guy should no longer be secretary of defense?

Warner added: “A couple of weeks ago in Virginia Beach. He had a large town hall. Many of the people in the town hall knew people who were in Truman, which is the aircraft carrier that the plane launched that the planes are the ones that were Werhinstes, who knew that Truman members knew if that information had come out, their loved ones could, frankly, in an inhora way.
