Goodnough shared his truth on the social platform after shedding light on his separation from Bertinelli, which occurred last year after 10 months of appointments.

“Valerie and I had a complicated relationship,” he wrote in part through Instagram Friday.

In his publication Leghy, Goodnough also shared that the “external” circumstances attracted them separately.

However, he said that love was never a problem in his relationship.
