Everything is love among the Lennon brothers.
Sean Ono Lennon published a message again in his Instagram stories on Monday that apparently closed tension rumors between 49, and his half -brother Julian Lennon, 62.
The message, shared by the “CEOOOFJOHNLENNON” fans account, read: “Here, we do not accept comparisons and erroneous creations of fights about two people who John Lennon loved more: their children :)”.
The publication presented a photo of the children of the late musician at the 1986 Rock and Roll Hall Hall of Fame for the induction of Elvis Presley.
Julian was born in 1963 from John and Cynthia Lennon. The former couple divorced five years later. Cynthia died in 2015 at age 75.
Meanwhile, Sean’s mother is John’s second wife, Yoko Ono. John and Yoko, 92, married until the death of the Beatles legend in 1980.
The brothers are musicians like their father. Julian has launched seven studio albums, while Sean has been in several bands, including the group of their parents, Plastic Ono Band.
Sean told People in November 2024 that he learned to play music as a way to connect with his late father.
“I lost my father and I didn’t know how to fill out that void. Learning to play their songs on the guitar was a way of processing the loss with an activity that made me feel connected to him,” he explained. “When you have lost a father, things like that motivate you, because you are trying to find them. Making music always made me feel better.”
Last year, John’s children left in the Dakota, the New York City Apartment building where he was killed in front of. Julian never lived in the Dakota, but they grew up there.
Julian shared black and white images of the Binking brothers in his Instagram publication of December 2024. Hello, he kissed Sean’s cheek in one of the snapshots.
“A good night kiss for my brother, after spending the event with him, taking a dinner and chatting with all night, in the roofota. Something that we can rarely do … grateful,” Julian subtitled his publication.
In 2022, Julian told The Independent that he and are called “at least a couple of times a month.”
“We are more than brothers, we are so good friends,” said Julian. “I wish we had more time together.”
That same year, Julian told People that the brothers speak often and come together about music, food, exercise and photography.
“We are brothers and we love each other deeply at that level,” Julian shared. “We simply talk daily, just as anyone would.”
Julian and Sean were 17 and 5 years old, respectively, when his father died.
John was shot dead by Mark David Chapman against Dakota on December 8, 1980 when he was 40 years old.
Three years before, the singer of “Hey Jude” Tok a memorable photo with his children in the Dakota for the holidays.
