Axis Bank Q4 Results: PAT at Rs 7,118 crore, misses analysts’ estimates; Re 1 dividend declared

AXIS BANK Q4 FY25 Results: Private sector lender Axis Bank reported on Thursday a net gain of 7,118 million rupees for the quarter that ended on March 31, almost unchanged from the corresponding period a year ago slightly lower than the expectations of analysts.

Its net introma is the difference between interest earned and the paid interest increased 5.5 percent in an year -on -year base at RS 13,811 million rupees.

According to Zee Business Research, it was estimated that the Axis bank reported a net gain of 7,190 million rupees with a net interest income of RS 13,850 million rupees.

The net margin of Axis Bank (NIM), a key measure of the profitability of a lender, improved at 4 basic points dryly at 3.97 percent.

For the financial year that ended on March 31, its NIM reached 3.98 percent.

“The bank prioritized the profitability of growth, considering the uncertain macros and the strict liquuidity environment that dominate most of the fiscal year 2015, while continuing to invest significantly in making the franchise more sustainable,” said Amitab.

“As we enter the fiscal year26, we believe that the operational environment is improving, which should go to boost growth and profitability,” Chaudhry added.

Axis Bank Asset quality improves

The quality of the lender’s assets improved, reflected in a sequential decrease in their assets without yield (NPA) or bad loans.

Its unrealized net assets (GNPA) stood at 1.28 percent and non -filmmakers (NNPA) to 0.33 percent, having decreased by 18 PB and 2 PB over a quarter of quarter.

EJO Banking provisions and contingencies

The lender reported provisions and contingencies for a sum of 1,359 million rupees for the last quarter of fiscal year 2015.

Deposits and loans

As of March 31, bank loans increased 8 percent in one year and 10 percent higher deposits in an year -on -year base.

House relationship

The lender’s house relationship increased by 200 basic points (BPS) sequentially to 41 percent.

A higher house relationship means more profitable access to cash and vice versa.

For the financial year that ended on March 31, the net profit of the bank increased 6.0 per edge at RS 26,373 million rupees.
