The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to promote at least 20 departments with artificial intelligence tools to improve services.

In preparation, about 300 senior government officials are being trained in several AI and Digital Technologies. These include 100 champions of AI and 200 catalysts, which will devise, develop concept evidence and promote the adoption of AI in the government.

The Wadhwani Center for Government Digital Transformation (WGDT) will help these officials design and build services based on Citizens.

The training adapts to address the specific needs and challenges of each department. Officials will obtain deep knowledge about digital strategies, selection and development of AI projects, improvement of services through the integration of technology and more.

Project execution

“After the initial training, the teams will move the idea and execution phase of the project. They will be encouraged to develop concept proof projects (PIC) that are relevant to them,” he said.

All teams will present their PIC before a jury of experts designated by the Government. The most promising projects can be selected for large -scale implementation by the Government.
