Indian Bank plans to disburse over ₹20,000 crore to SHGs in FY26

Indian Bank has announced plans to disburse around ₹ 200,000 million rupees to self -help groups (SHG) throughout the country in this fiscal year.

The announcement was lasted a MEGA SHG Credit Dissemination program held in the Railway Auditorium in Bhubaneswar, said a statement.

A total of 9,961 SHGS was issued sanction letters worth ₹ 509.91 million rupees during the program, providing financial assistance to groups led by women in Odisha. The event also exhibited SHG Enterprises successful in sectors such as handicafs, agricultural processing and textiles, and presented inspiring basic entrepreneurship stories.
