The actions of Indusind Bank Ltd, Ultratech Cement Ltd, Tata Motors Ltd, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd and Titan Company Ltd emerged as the main winners on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Hindustan Unilever Ltd (Hul), M&M Ltd, Icici Bank Ltd, Bharti Airtel Ltd and Eternal Healthcare Ltd saw significant losses.
After an impressive seven -day winning streak, the BSE Sensex fell 315.06 points or 0.39 percent, closing at 79,801.43. The NSE NIFTY also decreased 0.34 percent or 82.25 points, ending the day at 24,246.70. The recession was attributed to the expiration of the derivatives of months and the reserve of profits after the profits recently.
Upper gaatores
Indusind Bank increased 3.24 percent to ₹ 819.65. The ultrathech cement continued, increasing 1.80 percent to ₹ 12,163.15, driven by a positive perspective in the cement sector.
Tata Motors added 1.26 percent, closing ₹ 668.20, while Sun Pharma won 0.87 percent to ₹ 1,804.50. Titan rounded the first five, rising 0.83 percent to ₹ 3,384.35.
The main losers
Hindustan Unilever (Hul) was the largest loser, took 4.00 percent to ₹ 2,325 after the disappointing quarterly results. M&M fell 0.57 percent to ₹ 2,900.85, while Eternal Healthcare fell 1.17 percent to ₹ 236.40.
Icici Bank decreased 1.53 percent to ₹ 1,402.25, and Bharti Airtel finished 1.96 percent lower than ₹ 1,844.80.
The losses of the day were mainly driven by the disappointing results of Hul, which affected the FMCG sector. The market also saw some consolidation after earnings recently.
