The terrorists arrived at a popular tourist destination in Pahalgam, South Cashmira, on Tuesday, killing 27 liters and wounding at least another 20, authorities said. The Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmira, Omar Abdullah, said that the exact number of deaths is still being determined. “This attack is much larger than anything we have seen approached in civilians in recent years,” he said in X. The attack occurred around 3 pm when the terrorists descended from the mountain near the Baisaran Valley and opened fire. The area, often called “Mini Switzerland” for its expansive lush green meadows, was full of visitors at that time.
