Pakistan also suspended all trade with India, including those routed through third countries.
Rejecting the Indian decision to suspend the Indo Water Treaty, Pakistan declared that the river is the life line of 240 million Pakistani.
According to the statement, “any attempt to divert or stop water for Pakistan under the Indo Water Treaty will be considered an act of war.”
