At first, the program involved that Apollo and Starbuck were destined for each other, which made it much more surprising when Apollo and Dee married. Fans have often marveled how these characters gathered in the first place, and derives mainly from the Ronald D. Moore show impressed with the dynamics of the characters in the episode of season 2 “resistance.”
Now, Apollo and Dee many interactions in this episode … They speak a little earlier in the episode while he is imprisoned in the brig, and she then helps him and President Roslin escape custody. The next day, Starbuck escapes with Anders, which makes Apollo propose to Dee. They marry, but this does not prevent Apollo and Starbuck from having a later adventure.
Strangely, it is not the issues that make thesis two break … On the other hand, Dee separates from Apollo after defending Gaius Baltar when the crazy scientist is in trial for crimes against humanity. It turns out that Moore himself is a bit like cylons after all … Hey, he could not have a plan for these characters all the time, but created a complete story based only on his chemistry in a single episode.
