2025 NFL Draft first-round betting report: ‘The customers had a small win’

9 Min Read

On the 2 of the NFL draft it has arrived, and Shedeur Sanders is still on the board. That is, without a doubt, the biggest surprise so far in the probabilities of the NFL draft.

And not necessarily a welcome to some betting runners.

“We were small losers on the Sanders side. The Sharps win again,” said Circa Sports Operations Director Jeff Benson.

The probabilities of sports betting houses in Las Vegas and throughout the country intervened in how they went to NFL props on the first round on Thursday night.

SHEDEUR SLIDES

A month ago, it was anticipated that Sanders was a selection among the top five, with a rolling position of more than 3.5. And a week ago, the red quartels in practice in all appropriate sports were 8.5, with the expectation that he would go to the Saints of New Orleans at number 9.

But the land began to change Monday to Tuesday, and for Wednesday afternoon, Sanders lunch is 21.5 in the probabilities of the NFL draft in multiple betting houses. In the end it turned out that this was not far enough.

“As we have seen in the last two weeks, the stock of the Draft of Shedeur was not in a positive direction,” said Caesars Sports soccer chief Joey Farezel. “It feels as if in this kind of draft, the NFL teams thought there was more value in the trenches.”

Seventeen first round selections were offensive or defensive liners or edge corridors. And only two quarterbacks were recruited: Cam Ward in number 1 by the Tennessee Titans, as expected, and Jaxson Dart at number 25 by the New York giants, which was unexpected.

Many thought that, in the stage of sausage cases, Sanders would go. 21 to Pittsburgh. But the Steelers, to the point of Farezel, opted for the defensive Tackle of Oregon Derrick Harmon.

What follows?

Sanders was easily the most commented player in the probabilities of the NFL draft for round 1. That will be the case of the second and third round tonight, until the QB leaves the board.

I could hurry. Drackings Sportsbook reviewed their support draft The Browns have the second and fourth selection of the second round, Nos. 33 and 36 in general.

A +300, Las Vegas Raiders follow the Browns as a possible landing place in Sanders. Then the Saints in +600, and the Steelers, New York Jets and Los Angeles Rams with +1200.

Fanduel Sportsbook has Sanders the favorite of -125 to be the first choice of the second round.

Other surprises

Travis Hunter, teammate in Sanders in Colorado, was projected widely and precisely to go number 2 in general on Thursday night. But the expectation was that the two -way star would go to Cleveland.

However, the Browns exchanged selection number 2 for Jacksonville number 5. The Jaguars made Hunter Selection No. 2, which had a domino effect.

“The Browns’ trade was obviously big, since that took Ashton Jeanty from the dispute for number 5, which was a very popular bet,” said Farezel.

In fact, for Wednesday and certainly through Thursday, it seemed that the Boise State corridor Jeantty would go fifth in general, instead of the sixth originally anticipated. The only question was if Jeanty would go to Jacksonville or Chicago, with the rumors on Thursday that the Bears could change from number 10 to get Jeanty.

But Cleveland had no interest in a corridor in no. 5, going with the defensive Tackle of Michigan Mason Graham. Then, the Raiders of Las Vegas, who, until this week, were favored to select Jeanty, ended up taking the corridor at number 6.

Feazel noticed a couple of surprises more than first round.

“Colston Loveland was a shock to be the first wing closed on the board,” he said about Michigan’s prominent No. 10 to the Bears, ahead of Tyler Warren of Penn State, who was a great favorite to be the first selected closed wing.

“In addition, Tetairaa McMillan to the Panthers was an election that was dressed late.”

McMillan de Arizona was favored about Matthew Golden in Texas to be the first resource outside the board. One of those two was expected to go to the Dallas Cowboys in the No. 12. Instead, Carolina Toke McMillan at number 8, and Golden was actually the third recruited receiver, at number 23 by the Green Bay Packers.

The wide state of Ohio, Emeka Egbuka, was 18 to the Buccaneers of Tampa Bay. And the Cowboys did not write a receiver, but opted for Alabama Tyler Booker’s offensive guard with selection No. 12.

The trainers beat the betting runners

As Benson alluded up, the traigators won the first round of probabilities of the NFL draft in Circa Sports.

“We were a small loser,” he said. “Mason Graham less than 5.5 and Jahdae Barron, more than 17.5, cost us a penny. We ran badly, in my opinion.”

Graham, as noted above, went to Cleveland to number 5, while Barron, a corner out of Texas, went to the Denver Broncos with the 20th Selection.

Farezel de Caesars Sports echoed Benson’s feeling.

“After the first round, it seems that the client had a small victory, even with the shaking of the Browns’ trade,” said Feazel.

Fast

The probabilities of the NFL draft for days 2 and 3 are much more limited and generate much less interest. Feazel is already looking at the way for the best rookies in their first season.

“We hope to have fixing the offensive and defensive accessories of the rookie of the year in the next few days. And look in a special travel hunter special, so that he wins both awards,” said Farezel.

Caesars is already probabilities of rookie of the year of the NFL. In the offensive, Ward and Jeanty are +300 co-favors, followed by Hunter in +650. In defense, Abdul Carter is the favorite of +250, followed by Jalon Walker at +600, Graham A +800 and Mykel Williams and Hunter to +1000.

Carter, a Penn State advantage corridor, was recruited third in general by New York giants, as expected Oddmakers. Georgia’s supporter, Walker left, was it was it was, and Georgia Corridor Edge Williams was 11th to the San Francisco 49ers.
