Aaron Rodgers broke his silence on Thursday, making an appearance in “The Pat Mcaee Show” by ESPN. So what is the deal with the free agent and the four times MVP of the NFL?

“I am open to anything and attached to anything. Retirement could still be a possibility,” Rodgers said Thursday.

Rodgers confirmed that he has spoken with the members of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Minnesota Vikings and the New York giants in the last two months, while saying that he has personal issues that have played a role in his not signing a contract.

Dide announces an intention to play for a specific team or retire, in addition to saying that the next NFL 2025 draft would not affect its decision.

Rodgers was released by the New York Jets last month after a period of two years with the franchise. Last season, Rodgers totaled 3,897 aerial yards, 28 pass touchdowns, 11 interceptions and a 90.5 pin rating while completing 63% of its passes in what was a 5-12 season for jets.

Would Pittsburgh Steelers be better with Shedeur Sanders or Aaron Rodgers?

Rodgers, four times All-Pro and 10 times Pro Bowler, spent the first 18 seasons, the last 15 as a starter, or his career with the Green Bay Packers (2005-22) before spending two seasons with the jets.

As for the teams with which Rodgers has spoken, the giants have signed the veteran fields of Campo Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, which probably ends their interest in signing the 41 -year -old rodgers. The Steelers have met with the Mason Mason Rudolph, but could still select a quarterback with selection No. 21 in the draft next week, while the Vikings seem committed to the selection of the first round of 2024, JJ McCarthy, as their quarterback for the next season.

The NFL 2025 draft is from April 24 to 26.
