Washington’s national pitcher, Jorge López, has suspended three games and engulfed in Andrew McCutchen from Pittsburgh, the major league baseball announced Thursday.
López was expelled from Wednesday night against the pirates after a high field near McCutchen’s head led the clearing of the banks in the seventh entrance.
López hit the anterior batter, Bryan Reynolds, with a launch before facing McCutchen, who had fallen to the ground to avoid being hit by a 92 mph ball near his head.
The law has presented an appeal of the suspension, which began on Thursday, but will not enter into force until this process is carried out.
