Vice President JD Vance was able to celebrate the most recent university football title of his Alma Mater in the White House on Monday, but he arrived with him on the wrong side of a viral moment.
While comments were made on Ohio State’s trip to the White House, Vance tried to lift the trophy of the College Football Playoff Championship. However, the prize was dismantled when he lifted, with the star of the star Treveyon Henderson Neding for Swoop In to fix the situation.
Vance laughed at social networks a little later, joking that “I didn’t want anyone after Ohio’s state to get the trophy.”
However, the lack of Monday was far from being the first time that some have confirmed a celebration of a trophy duration. Then, let’s take a look at some of the most unfortunate moments that people have had with the trophies over the years.
The Real Madrid King Cup trophy is executed
After winning his first Copa del Rey title in 18 years, Real Madrid obtained a duration too excited about his championship parade. While a two -story bus moved along a street in Madrid, the legendary Center Sergio Ramos scored the equivalent of celebration of his own goal. He has dropped the trophy, which fell in front of the bus. As the driver did not have time to react, the trophy was hit by the bus. The trophy ended up being abolished.

Wisconsin crushes May Trophy Bowl
The most memorable moment of Graham Mertz calming his time when Wisconsin’s Marshal could leave the field. After taking Wisconsin to a 42-28 victory in May Bowl 2020, Mertz and his teammates Badgers danced with the trophy in the locker room. Once Mertz got it, glass football left its position score and broke down the entire floor.
Now, chief coaches are scratched in May after winning May Bowl, a probable safer celebration.
Maple Leafs Burn Lord Stanley
When you have a trophy that has existed for more than 100 years, it will surely have passed through some potholes and bruises over the years. The closest call to the Stanley Cup came to be completely destroyed in 1962, when the Maple Leafs dropped the trophy into a bonfire and damaged it severely.
The team outlined trophy repairs. Two years later, when the Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup again, Red Kelly son accidentally urinated in the trophy when the two posed for a photo.
Nicolas Aube-Kubel Travel with the Stanley Cup in hand
The most recent setback with the Stanley Cup arrived in 2022. After the members of the Colorado avalanche made their trip through the ice with the trophy after their victory over the Lightning of Tampa Bay, Aube-Kubel skated with the trophy in his hand while he went to join his team for an image, but he stumbled and fell. While fortunately he had the Stanley Cup to help break his fall, a dent was fine in the trophy that made it repair shortly after.
Florida and Alabama see each one a BCS trophy that breaks
Before the advent of university American football playoffs, university football teams competed for BCS crystal.
But as great as a glass football can be seen, it is relatively easy to destroy. Both Florida and Alabama learned that in the difficult way. While visiting Florida on a recruitment trip in 2008, former NFL player Orson Charles went to pose with the trophy that the team won by his title in 2006. As Charles did that, he accidentally hit the trophy, causing him to crush.
Four years later, the Alabama 2011 Championship BCS Trophy suffered a similar destination. Snapper Long Carlson Tinker’s father, Carleton, had to lift Alabama’s spring game in 2012. After replacing the trophy, he thought, Tinker heard a success, with him throughout the floor.
“I’m not really sure how the thing fell,” Tinker told ESPN shortly after the incident.
Tinker offered to pay for damages working at school on weekends, but the program obtained a replacement trophy.
Rob Gronkowski makes a dent in the Lombardi trophy
Gronkowski left his mark with the New England patriots, literally. After winning his third Super Bowl title with the team in 2018, Gronkowski announced his first retirement in March 2019. A few weeks later, he had a last celebration with his teammates of the Patriots when they threw the first game of the middle game.
But before the Patriots call the field in Fenway Park that day, they had fun making a baseball. Gronkowski went to take a launch with the Lombardi trophy in his hand. He did not swing, but hit his place, making a contact strong enough with the ball that captivated a dent in the Lombardi trophy.
