New York City – The 2025 WNBA draft is officially complete, and 38 players have selected bone. There were some obvious selections of Dallas, the general manager of Dallas, Curt Miller, confirmed that he never hesitated to select Paige Bueckers and others that were much more uncertain, with much debate on who would complete the first round of the draft.
Some teams were much better positioned for successful; Washington’s mystics, for example, had No. 3, No. 4, and no. 6 selections, while some, like the Valkyries of Golden State, put everything in a basket.
There are three winners and three losers of the draft night.
Winner: Dallas Wings
There was a lot of celebration in Dallas on Monday night, and for a good reason. They assured the best and most player ready for WNBA in the draft in Paige Bueckers, which was obvious.
And they also selected the outstanding NC State Asiaha James with the 12th selection, a microwave scorer who averaged 17.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists last season.
Since they won the draft lottery, it was difficult for Dallas to ruin the draft night. But, his number 12 choice could end up being a robbery along with the undeniable talent that is Bueckers.
Loser: Golden State Valkyries
The Valkyries risked with him. 5 Choose, selecting the Lithuanian star Jocyte. The 19 -year -old has played professional basketball in France for five seasons now, and has been compared to Luka Doncic for some.
But, there are many open questions about their ability to defend, offensive efficiency and availability. Golden State could have secured to more dependable prospect with their first-ver franchise draft pick, but tok a swing at a higher-risk, hygher-stite talent-georgia amoore, anesah Morrow, and saniyah and saniyah and saniyah and saniyah and saniyah, and saniya, and saniyah, and saniyah, Saniyah, and Saniyah and Saniyah, and Saniyah, and Saniyah, and Saniyah, and Saniyah, and Saniyah, and Saniyah, and Saniyah, and Saniyah, and Saniyah, and Saniyah, and Saniyah, and Saniyah and Saniyah.
The Valkyries could know better than the rest of us, but this was a fairly surprising choice in real time.
Winner: Washington Mystics
The mystics were in a good place entering the draft, owners of No. 3, No. 4, and no. 6 selections. They leave with the notre Dame Guard, Sonia Citron, the USC striker, Kiki Iriafen, and Kentucky Georgia Amore-Third Grades Greeting Skills that have lists for the WNBA.

It is difficult to be wrong when you have the rights to half of the six best players, but this was a well -balanced group that will help Washington build around a young nucleus headed by Aaliyah Edwards. Citron must be an elite defender of the Salto, while Amoore could be his shipowner of the future.
Loser: Shyanne Sellers
Shyanne Sellers was a projected first round selection, but Maryland’s prominent fell to the no. 17 pick. Sellers has a huge opportunity ahead of her with the Valkyries of Golden State, but she had to sit and wait for much more expected until her name was finally called.
To worsen things, earlier at night, it was incorrectly identified as Anesah Morrow in an orange carpet interview.
Winner: Hailey van Lith, TCU
A year ago, Hailey Van Lith was a difficult loss for Owa and far from being a first round perspective. But after an outstanding season in TCU, he showed that all he needed was a landscape change, and more investment in his mental health. Van Lith ordered in the WNBA draft with his family, the NBA player, Jalen Suggs, and his sports psychologist or course.

Loser: Sedona Prince, TCU
The 13 WNBA teams decided to move to Sedona Prince in the Draft despite their intriguing skills set; A decision that is probably related to its list of accusations of domestic violence. Prince was a first round prospect in many simulated drafts only a few weeks ago, so for her falling from the three rounds is a fairly notable fall.
