The representative Ritchie Torres (D-Ny) said Tuesday in “The Situation Room” of CNN that “any American” could be kidnapped, deported and tortured under the administration of President Donald Trump.
Host Wolf Blitzer said: “You are presenting a bill that would require the United States to ensure the return of deported persons. Why is this necessary and will have some republican support?”
Torres said: “I am skeptical that we have republican support to the bee triumphing badly labeling any American as a member of a non -citizen gang and that kidnap them on the night of the night and makes them a foreign prison to be tortured.
He added: “If there is a foreign leader as the president of El Salvador who refuses to fulfill a Federal Court order to free some of the leg, a bad deportee, there must be a geopolitical consequence and those internal ones on the paths of the transitals services of relations with the United States and the termination of foreign assistance.”
