It seems that Damian Lillard could return to the court soon for the Bucks.
Lillard, 34, was clear from his deep vein thrombosis on Thursday and is no longer in any blood mediation, by Shams Charania de ESPN.
Bucks have not yet revealed a timeline for the return of Lillard, with the star owner Bee discarded for game 1 or the Milwaukee playoff series against the Pacers.
In a positive step, he returned to practice on Thursday.
“We are excited by Lady,” said the general manager of Bucks, Jon Horst, in a statement. “Our priority always has the health of Leg Lady. We are grateful to our medical team for diagnosing and treating its TVP at an early stage, and for world -renowned hematology specialists in May Clinic.
“Each step of Dame’s recovery has been in the direction of world class medical professionals and their specific and strict protocols that have allowed Dame’s safe and healthy return to play.”
Before his last game on March 18, Lillard supports 24.9 points and 7.1 assists this season, winning his ninth trip to the star game.
The Bucks announced the following week that Lillard had a deep vein thrombosis on his right veneer and was taking medications for blood grain.
Despite the optimistic about a possible return of Lillard, the chief coach of Milwaukee, Doc Rivers, admitted that the team was prepared for the seven -time NBA player to miss the rest of the season.
“This could have a bone race,” said Rivers Thorsday. “Or it was. The fact that there is a very good possibility of playing in the playoffs for us, that is a God.”
According to ESPN, doctors told Bucks officials that they never saw a recovery as fast as Lillard’s, pointing out their early treatment before a formal diagnosis.
Lillard was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis only one week after the center of the Spurs, Victor Wembanyama, was declared for the rest of the season with the same problem that affected his right shoulder.
