A school district in Dark Blue California has voted to prohibit men in girls’ sports.
The Unified School Board of Redlands in San Bernardino County of Southern California voted in favor of prohibiting transgender athletes by vote or 3-2.
“I am very grateful that this madness has not entered society when it was growing,” said Board Candy Olson.
“If people think there are no differences between them and women, they are denying science.”
The Redlands executive, Trisha Keeling, Toke Sharp Exception to the vote while saying that there were no trans athletes in the district. He also accused the defenders of the trans prohibition of the creation of a problem where there is none.
“Redlands should not and cannot bear this form of discrimination,” he said.
Redlands joins is a fellow school district of California, Chino Valley, to vote to ban trans athletes.
“It is not controversial, it is common sense,” said the president of the Board of Chinese School Valley Shaw, Sonja Shaw, who traveled to Redlands for the vote. “We are here to make common sense common again.”
The vote occurs immediately after a recent Californian survey, which shows a large majority of the probable voters of that state to disagree with allowing transgender athletes to compete in girls’ sports.
“A new survey found that 65 percent of California voters probably think that transgender athletes who Iidify athletes should play in teams that coincide with their sex instead of their claims of gender identity,” said Katherine Hamilton de Breitbart. “The survey, which was conducted by the Institute of Non -Party Public Policy of California, found that almost half of the Democrats in the State of Agreement.”
