Cuomo’s big-buck blunder and more: Letters

The big mistake of Cuo

Andrew Cuomo has just lost $ 3 million in coincident campaign funds because he did not complete the application process on time (“A great blow to CUO”, April 16).

This comes immediately after a housing plan generated by uncontable, incorporated Chatgpt. These instances are one more proof of their total lack of management skills. He has had a year to plan his return campaign, and yet everything is still brass.

Despite running in his reputation as an experienced administrator, these gaffes are indicators of the fatal lack of executive aptitude that led him to miscarriage of the Covid crisis.

Can anyone doubt the fact that it is completely inept? And once again, he is trying to blame his staff for these main errors.

Wake up, New Yorkers.

Nuclear negotiations

Congratulations to this editorial, which correctly identifies the terrible risk of being suborned in unsuccessful negotiations (“Do not let Iran be a Sucker Witkoff”, Editorial, April 14).

While the conversations are dragged, the Iranian nuclear weapons program could finish developing an atomic bomb. The complete destruction of the Iranian nuclear program should be the non -negotiable result of any discussion with Iran.

Unfortunately, Steve Witkoff has left suggestions that the position of the United States is that Iran can retain a nuclear program as long as it does not produce a nuclear weapon. This would be a serious mistake, especially given the extensive history of Iran of illicit nuclear proliferation in violation of treaties and agreements that it has signed. You must stop now.

Let lunch go

We have allowed the issue of school lunch to become unnecessarily political (“out of lunch”, Eva Moskowitz, April 14).

Do you remember when Obama-Ara’s suggestion to offer apple slices or frisian triggered outrage? Michelle Obama even expressed his surprise for the controversial lunch initiative of the school, noting that “it became a partisan problem” despite its goal of improving the health of children.

What is particularly surprising is that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is now defending some of these same principles through his movement “Make America Healy Again”, which illustrates how similar objectives can be reformulated depending on who proposes the subject.

We give flexibility to schools, entrust food service workers and stop letting policy interfere with the health and education of children.

Climate fashion

I loved John Stassel’s article about climate change fans who were wrong (“Climate Doomers did not say it,” Postopination, April 17).

If you have ever deceived you for false global warming predictions, do not feel to pray. The Egyptians, novels, Aztecs and Native Americans thought that human behavior changed the climate. His “experts” were also wrong.

People used it to be able, greed and fear to control others; There is not much that is different today.

MLB means business

Appoint Aaron Judge as Captain of the US team. UU. You are from far signs to the sponsors that the MLB is for the next competition (“Judge appointed Captain of the US team. UU. For ’26 WBC”, April 15).

I saw the confrontation of the 4 nations of the hockey and I cannot wait for the World Cup. International competitions are gold for qualifications and baseball says: If you can’t beat them, join them.
