Here is a look at the possible training candidates for the Rangers after they fired Peter Laviolette:
1. Mike Sullivan
If Chris Dury has the opportunity to move Sullivan from the penguins, the expectation is that the president and the general manager of the Rangers would do exactly that.
Sullivan told the post before the start of last season that was in Pittsburgh “in the long term”, and on Friday their “intentions are the chief coach who advances”, but who knows what could happen in the middle of the missing playoffs.
2. Jay Leach
Behind the Bruins Bank this season as an assistant, Leach would be a NHL chief coach for the first time if the Rangers hired him.
