NYPD Deputy Chief Paul Saraceno loses job after approving fraudulent OT slips: sources

The man to the right to dishonor the former head of the New York Police Department, Jeffrey Maddrey, was fired from the job after he was caught in the same sex scandal in extravagant time that sank his boss, the police and the sources told The Post on Thursday.

Deputy Director Paul Saraceno was expelled from this after he allegedly signed dozens of old extra time receipts for the then LT. Quathisha EPPS, who was supposedly involved in a Quid-Pro-Quid-Pro-Quid of Sex by Bono with Maddrey, said a source of application of the law.

EPPS, who was the best winner of the department with a sum of $ 403,515 last year, left the NPyptada last year after he accused Maddrey of coercing her in sex, a pump claim reported for the first time for the position.

Maddrey resigned shortly after being contacted on EPPs statements, which included forcing her to have sex with him at the New York Police headquarters.

Saraceno supposedly took a “group of extra time slip of (EPPs) in November that were from the beginning of 2024 and that gave more than 170 of them,” said the source.

The deputy director allegedly signed the slippage even though there was an active investigation into the additional astronomical payment by EPPs, according to the source.

Saraceno puts his retirement documents at the Guest House Board on Thursday, according to an internal police document obtained by the position.

He went under a state clause and acted in 2011 that allows NYPT members to retire if they are fired with 20 years or more at work.

Saraceno, who was initially degraded from his position after the accusations came to light, will cling to his pension, but will not collect a letter that indicates that he left in good terms or maintained his weapon, said another police source to the post.

He did not immediately respond a message to the comment.

New York Police confirmed Thursday that she was fired this month while the New York Police commissioner, Jessica Tisch, works to eliminate corruption inside the agency with scandals.

Part of that effort consisted of reorganizing the Office of Internal Affairs and additional offices after the alleged sexual agreement came to light.

Maddrey described sex with “consensual” EPPs and denied any abuse. Police sources said previously that EPPS retired in January.

Federal prosecutors and the New York Police have opened investigations on accusations.

Chris Monahan, president of the NYPD Captain Association, told The Post that Saraceno directly informed Maddrey and “was caught between a rock and a Hart place.”

Saraceno was disciplined in 2022 under the then Keeschand Sewell police after an internal affairs investigation discovered that he used the department’s time badly and presented a false time sheet, a police source said.
