One injured in fire at Victorian home

San Jose – A person was injured in a fire in a Victorian house on Thursday in San José, fire officers said.

Firefighters were called the house in the first block of North 10th Street around 2 pm, according to the San José Fire Department. At 2:23 pm, the fire was under control.

A person was tasks of a hospital with unknown injuries, firefighters said. A dog was also rescued.

The American Red Cross was called to help seven people who were displaced by fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
