President Donald Trump and the first lady Melania Trump joined children and families from all over the country to roll, color and read in the Easter eggs of the White House on Monday.
The Trump and the Easter bunny began the festivities in the South Lawn after the president delivered comments from the letter.
The president and the first lady presented the egg roll, blowing whistles when different groups of children reached the exit line.
They also color with groups of children in tables on the south lawn, where the president joked: “I am really interested in this!”
He also made sure the children on the table with him knew they were coloring with the first lady, attracting a smile of his wife.
“Do you know who she is? First lady of the United States of America!” Trump said.
The president inspected the children’s work of the children once they finished and said he would sign them all.
The first lady also read Bunny with a big heart By Marilyn Sadler to children in the reading corner.
She asked the children the lessons they learned after reading.
Other readers on Monday included the press secretary of the White House, Karoline Leavitt, the Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez Deremer, the Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins, the Secretary of Labor Sean Duffy and his wife Rachel Campos-Duffy, and others.
Trump also joked about then President Joe Biden in the Easter egg roll in 2022, where the individual inside the bunny costume directed the leader of the free world about where to go.
“Do you remember when the bunny taught Joe Biden?” Trump asked the press. “He is not rejecting Trump.”

Before returning to the Oval office after the festivities, the president made his brand dance registered with the joy of the crowd.
